Here’s how long it generally takes to apply for the CAJG (and remember, you may qualify for getting 2/3 of your costs covered!)

  1. Sign up for an My Alberta Digital ID for business (if you don’t already have on) – 2 minutes
    Within 48 hours you’ll receive a confirmation email – but we received ours in less than an hour
  2. Then you register for the Alberta Labour’s Workforce Grants Portal – 30 seconds
  3. Click on the Canada-Alberta Job Grant and fill out the employer portion, attach the 321 Course Overview that has all the details – 5 minutes
  4. Fill out the trainee information – 3 minutes
  5. Review the application and verify – 3 minutes

Less than 15 minutes if you have everything at your fingertips, maybe a few minutes longer to open employee files.
